DNA sequences are assembled into unique contigs using the Phrap program. The assembled unique sequences are annotated at e<10-10 against Swiss-Prot/TrEMBL protein knowledgebase (http://us.expasy.org). Unique sequences are classified by the following categories: molecular functional, cellular location, and biological process using the Gene Ontology classification system. Unique assembled ESTs are deposited in our spruce budworm EST database.
